Chicago Precision MFG, LLC (CPM) can fabricate a variety of materials (aluminum, stainless steel, copper, standard metal) and gauges, including perforated parts. We can take on production volume orders, as well as short-run production and prototype jobs.
The CPM Engineering Process
The CPM engineering and programming team works with the CAD system via AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Adobe. We also use the CAM system via Metal Soft (Fabri-Win / Machine Talk).
CPM accepts the following file types:
Have a part, but don't have any files or specs? CPM offers reverse engineering and product development?
Once a quote is accepted, our engineering and programming team uses your files to create CPM Manufacturing Process Instructions – which detail the FMEA (failure modes and effects analysis), process flows, and piece-part fabrication drawings – to fabricate your parts. We have many types of equipment and tooling to complete the job to your satisfaction.
Need more than fabrication? CPM also offers the following value-added services: manufacturing, powder and wet coating, assembly, and shipping!
Quality Control (QC)
When your parts are completed, CPM will perform an inspection and provide an analysis. Our quality inspector has full access to the models to ensure that all critical points are easily reviewed.
CPM provides first approval for all parts, during the process inspection and the out-of-box inspection before we ship.
